Hello Peoples!

To those who may not be aware, I have a story on here called,The Tale of Titherspoon. This story was born from this very prompt that I created in my Advanced Creative Writing class. In this original version, Richard did not have such a district personality, nor was he a tailor, in this he was a cook.

Hope you all enjoy this!

A Prompt of Titherspoon

With a jolt, his eyes snapped awake, as he inhaled the nose itching aroma of smoke.

Growl.

Richard D. Titherspoon could only curse as the Wellington roast went up into flames.

Already spotted with specs of overcooked black crust, the remaining edible flesh of the carcass stood naught a chance as it was consumed with nary a resistance by yellow and green fire. His eyes, still heavy and crusty with sleep, announced how and why things went awry. Richard sluggishly rose from his chair, the smears of black fully consuming the roast, even if he did put the fire out now he would not be able to serve it. The centerpiece had to be perfect.

Growl.

But perfect or not, he did not deny how good the smell of the cooked cinnamon and hot pepper flake seasoned meat tasted. If I were not in enough trouble as it were I would take the roast with me. Knowing the head chef, he will just throw it out anyway, Richard thought,

swallowing the pool of hunger-born salvia down his bony throat.

GROWL.
